کتاب Anecdotes in American English مجموعه ای از حکایات و داستان های کوتاه امریکن است که از سه مجموعه داستان برای زبان آموزان سطوح مقدماتی تا پیشرفته تشکیل می گردد. این کتاب دربردانده 90 درس (هر سطح 30 درس) می باشد که هر درس شامل دو بخش اصلی می شود. در بخش اول یک متن کوتاه و تعدادی سوال و در بخش دوم دو قسمت کار تمرینی که از متن استخراج می شود ارائه گردیده است. همچنین معانی واژگان مهم هر درس در پایان همان درس در جدولی ارائه گردیده است. تمامی دروس دارای فایل صوتی نیز می باشند. زبان آموز می تواند با استفاده از این کتاب به تقویت مهارت های Reading، Listening و Vocabulary خود بپردازد.
